Loan deal becomes permanent: Jereko stays at HB Køge Women

Since the summer, Jereko has been on loan from Kansas City Current on an agreement running until the end of the year. This loan deal has now been made permanent, and the Kenyan international will therefore continue at HB Køge Women until the summer of 2027.

“We are very happy that Jereko is continuing at the club. She is a talented player who has quickly established herself as an important part of the team. It was therefore completely natural for us to want to continue the collaboration especially because she thrives here and fits perfectly into the squad’s dynamic,” says Sporting Director Jonas Nielsen.

So far, Jereko has played 13 matches for HB Køge Women and scored one goal coming in the away match against FCV Farul Constanța. The 28-year-old midfielder is delighted that her stay at HB Køge has now been extended.

“I am staying at the club because it feels like my home. I have a really strong connection to the people here, and I believe in the direction we are heading. I am truly happy to be here and cannot wait to keep giving everything I have,” Jereko says about her extension.

Jereko and the rest of HB Køge Women will be in action on Saturday in the final home match of the A-League season, when FC Nordsjælland visit Capelli Sport Stadion.

Tickets for the match can be purchased her.
