Alex Levin comes from a key business role at Kansas City Current, where she has been a driving force in building one of the most globally recognized and commercially successful brands in international women’s football. With the appointment of Alex Levin, HB Køge Women reinforces both its strategic direction and its close collaboration with Kansas City Current. She will play a key role in further developing the club’s brand and impact locally, nationally, and internationally, with a clear ambition to set new standards for women’s football in Denmark.

“HB Køge Women are building something truly special, and I am honored to have this opportunity to join the club at such a transformative time. As a former player and lifelong women’s football fan, this work is deeply personal to me, and I take great pride in being a part of an organization – with the Kansas City Current and now HB Køge Women – that is setting the global standard in women’s football,” says Alex Levin, and continues:

“I have great respect for the Danish culture – one that I can already see is built on inclusivity, trust, and community. I hope to blend my experience at the Kansas City Current with the values of the Køge community to ensure the club creates a positive impact on our fans, partners, and the local community beyond the pitch.

Women’s football at the highest international level
The appointment of Alex Levin marks an important step in HB Køge Women’s continued development and reflects the long-term vision of the club’s ownership, Angie and Chris Long. With a clear ambition to strengthen the club’s international position while building a sustainable organization rooted in strong values and local engagement, the owners see Alex Levin as a central figure in the club’s future development.

“Alex has played a decisive role in building the Kansas City Current, where her strong combination of strategic insight, commercial understanding, and deep commitment to culture and community has helped create a strong fan culture both on and off the pitch. We are confident that she is the right leader to strengthen HB Køge Women, as both national and international ambitions lie ahead,” say Angie and Chris Long.

With a clear focus on community, culture, and long-term development, Alex Levin looks forward to becoming an integrated part of both the club and the local community.

“I have always admired the passion and culture around football in Europe and am eager to experience it first-hand. I am motivated by the club’s commitment to the development and long-term sustainability of women’s football – both here in Køge and across Denmark. The club’s players, staff, and community have made a strong impression on me, and I look forward to getting to know the community more and hopefully lifting many trophies together,” concludes Alex Levin.
