Football Icon Nadia Nadim Extends Her Stay with HB Køge Women

One of the biggest stars in the history of Danish women's soccer is staying with HB Køge Women!

HB Køge Women can now officially confirm that Nadia Nadim has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.

The extension is one of the biggest stories in Danish women's soccer this summer. With more than 100 senior international caps for Denmark, an outstanding global career, and experience at some of the world's biggest clubs, Nadia Nadim has chosen to continue her journey with HB Køge Women.

Head Coach Kristian Mørch says:

"This extension feels like a natural step, but at the same time it sends a strong message that both sides have chosen to continue this journey together. Nadia has attracted significant interest from elsewhere, but she has decided that this is the best place for her. She is a player who raises the standards of everyone around her. Nadia thrives in the biggest moments, when the pressure is at its highest and everything is on the line. Above all, though, she's a footballer who simply loves playing the game. And that's exactly why she's still playing!"

Nadia Nadim is excited to continue building on the foundation the team has already established and says:

"I'm incredibly happy to extend my contract with HB Køge Women. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming season because I truly believe we've started something special together. We've already achieved something remarkable by winning the Double and qualifying for the UEFA Women's Champions League, but at the same time, I feel like we're only just getting started.
