First Home Match of the Season Awaits: Kristian Mørch Expects an Intense Clash with ASA Aarhus

Following an impressive 3-0 victory over FC Copenhagen in the season opener, HB Køge Women face their next challenge tomorrow, Saturday, as newly promoted ASA Aarhus visit Køge Idrætspark.

Head Coach Kristian Mørch is expecting an intense battle between two teams that both made winning starts to the new campaign.

"When you look at the circumstances surrounding the two clubs, it might seem like a contrast on paper. But it's important to emphasize that ASA Aarhus has many players with experience at a high level who have been playing together for a long time. This is the first top-of-the-table clash of the season, and we're facing a team with a lot of quality and a very good coach. We're looking forward to an intense match," says Mørch.

Fast, Attacking Soccer on the New Playing Surface

Saturday's match will also mark the first opportunity for the home crowd to see HB Køge Women play on the club's new playing surface at Køge Idrætspark.

The Head Coach hopes the fans will be treated to an entertaining afternoon:

"We've got a really good playing surface that allows us to play with a high tempo, which suits our style of play. We're a team that plays with speed, and we already showed in the opening round that we can create plenty of scoring chances. That's the kind of soccer we want to deliver in front of our home fans."

HB Køge Women will be aiming for their second win of the season when ASA Aarhus visit Køge Idrætspark tomorrow, Saturday, August 1, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 PM.
