HB Køge Women Extend Contract with Danish International Goalkeeper Alberte Vingum Until 2028

HB Køge Women have extended the contract of 21-year-old Danish international goalkeeper Alberte Vingum until 2028, allowing her to continue her career journey with the club.

Alberte Vingum joined HB Køge Women from Odense Q at just 16 years old and made her debut later that same year in 2021. The move from Funen to Køge was a major step both professionally and personally, but since then she has taken significant strides in her development, progressing from the youth ranks to becoming a regular part of the first-team squad.

“HB Køge Women is something very special to me because it feels like home. I’ve been here for almost five years, and I’ve developed enormously both as a player and as a person. It’s a professional and ambitious environment where I thrive and am challenged every single day,” says Alberte Vingum.

An Extension of Strategic Importance
HB Køge Women Sporting Director Jonas Nielsen views the extension as a clear reflection of the direction and ambitions the club is working toward.

He particularly highlights the development Alberte has undergone since arriving at the club:

“Alberte has always had great talent. In recent years she has worked closely with our goalkeeping coach Claes de Flon on developing her leadership and presence on the pitch, and we see a clear progression in her performances. We are convinced that she has the potential to take further steps in the coming seasons.”

Through hard work, continuity, and a strong development environment, Alberte Vingum has established herself as a goalkeeper. With the club’s relatively new owners, she also feels that the club’s ambitions have become even clearer.

“With the new ownership you can clearly feel the high level of ambition. There are investments being made in facilities, structure, and the long-term project. It gives us even better conditions to develop and believe that we can compete at the very top, also internationally.”

Since her debut in 2021, Alberte Vingum has played 67 matches for HB Køge Women, recording 31 clean sheets. She has won two Danish championships with the club in 2022 and 2023 and made her debut for the Danish senior national team in October 2024.
