Tomorrow at 1.00 pm, HB Køge Women face another important test as OB Q visit Køge Idrætspark in a clash between the top two teams in the Danish Women's League, with both sides having claimed maximum points from their opening two league matches.

HB Køge Women have enjoyed an impressive start to the season, winning all four matches across the Danish Women's League and the UEFA Women's Champions League. Head coach Kristian Mørch is pleased with the way his side has opened the campaign.

"We've had a good start. We've continued to build on a clear playing identity, and we've managed to get a lot of players involved. We've scored plenty of goals, and our performances have been very dominant, so we're pleased with the way we've started," says the head coach.

In-form opposition awaits
While OB Q may have surprised many by taking six points from their opening two league matches, Kristian Mørch expects a confident side to arrive in Køge.

"They've got the maximum out of the work they've put into their first two matches. They're playing with a lot of confidence and are riding the wave that confidence can bring. I expect a team that believes strongly in themselves, and that's something we have to be ready for from the very first whistle."

For HB Køge Women, the focus is on imposing their own style of play and making the most of the qualities that have characterised the team throughout the opening weeks of the season.

"We need to play at a tempo they'll struggle to keep up with. At the same time, we have to make use of the individual and collective qualities we have. That's how we're going to approach the game."

Football fest at the official stadium opening
Saturday's match is also a special occasion for both the club and the city. Køge Municipality will officially inaugurate the new facilities at Køge Idrætspark, and to celebrate, admission to the match is completely free. Kristian Mørch is once again hoping for a big crowd to back the team.

"I think we're playing football that's exciting to watch. And it's even better when there are people in the stands. It creates a really positive synergy that we're very happy about."
