Several players from HB Køge Women have been away on international duty with their respective national teams. Read below to see how they performed in their matches.

Denmark
Alberte Vingum, Mille Gejl and Simone Boye were all selected for the Danish senior national team, which kicked off its World Cup qualification campaign in pursuit of a place at the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Denmark has made a strong start to the qualification.

In the first match at home against Serbia, the Danes secured a 3–1 victory. Mille Gejl started the match and made her mark with an assist for Denmark’s 2–0 goal before being substituted in the 86th minute. Simone Boye also got playing time after coming on in stoppage time.

Four days later another challenge awaited, this time away against Italy. The Italians were the bookmakers’ favourites, but Denmark brought home a valuable point after a 1–1 draw. Both Mille Gejl and Simone Boye started the match. Gejl was substituted after an hour of play, while Boye played the full 90 minutes.

Alberte Vingum was part of the squad but watched both matches from the bench.

After two matches, Denmark tops the group with four points.

Serbia
In the same qualification group is HB Køge Women goalkeeper Ema Aleksic, who was selected for the Serbian national team.

Serbia, as mentioned, lost 3–1 to Denmark in Horsens, but followed it up with an impressive result at home against Sweden. Few had expected the Serbians to take points from the Swedes, but the match ended 0–0, securing Serbia an important point.

However, Ema Aleksic did not feature in either of the two matches.

Kenya
Jereko and the Kenyan national team played two friendly matches during the international break against Benin and Ivory Coast.

The first match against Benin ended in a 2–0 defeat, with Jereko starting the game. She was also in the starting lineup in the following friendly against Ivory Coast, but Kenya once again had to see themselves defeated – this time 1–0.

Sweden U23
Emilia Pelgander was selected for Sweden’s U23 national team, which took part in a training tournament featuring two matches.

In the first match away against Belgium, Sweden won 3–1. Pelgander started the match and was substituted in the closing stages.

In the second match of the tournament, Sweden faced Romania away and continued their strong form with a 5–1 victory. Pelgander started the match on the bench but came on in the 78th minute.

The two wins secured first place in the group for Sweden, and the team can now look forward to the final tournament in Spain in April.
