HB Køge Women have signed promising Polish forward Julia Gutowska ahead of the upcoming season. The 20-year-old joins the club from Polish side Rekord Bielsko-Biała, where she established herself as one of the league’s brightest young attacking talents. Despite her young age, Gutowska has already made more than 70 appearances in Poland’s top division and has scored 13 goals at the senior level.
In addition to her club experience, Julia Gutowska has represented Poland at multiple youth national team levels, including U15, U17 and U19. She now takes the next step in her career as she joins HB Køge Women.
"Julia is part of an exceptionally talented Polish generation that has qualified for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, including a decisive victory over Sweden in which she scored twice. She possesses a natural goalscoring instinct and a strong attacking mindset that we are excited to continue developing during her time at HB Køge Women. We believe this move is a perfect fit for both Julia and the club. Poland is an important market for us, and we are incredibly proud to attract one of the standout talents from this generation,” says Jonas Nielsen, Sporting Director of HB Køge Women.
For Julia Gutowska, the club’s ambitions and commitment to player development played a key role in her decision to continue her career in Denmark.
"I’m really happy to have signed with HB Køge Women. I heard many positive things about the club, and after speaking with the staff, I had no doubt this was the right place for me. I’m looking forward to meeting my new teammates, working hard every day and continuing to develop as a player. I’m excited to start this new chapter and help the team achieve its goals,” says Julia Gutowska.
Welcome to the club, Julia!
