HB Køge Women is set to welcome European football back to Køge as the club hosts the UEFA Women's Champions League 2026/27 Second Qualifying Round. The four-team qualifying mini-tournament will take place at Køge Stadium on Wednesday, August 5, and Saturday, August 8, 2026.
Hosting the tournament gives HB Køge Women the opportunity to compete for a place in the Third and Final Qualifying Round on home soil while welcoming one of Europe's premier women's club competitions to Køge.

The following clubs will compete in First Qualifying Round Mini-Tournament 3 for the final spot in Køge:
HB Køge Women will face the winner of Mini-Tournament 3 in one semifinal, while FC Gintra and Hearts will meet in the other. Both semifinal matches will be played on Wednesday, August 5.
The semifinal winners will advance to the tournament final on Saturday, August 8, with a place in the Third and Final Qualifying Round on the line. The losing semifinalists will compete in the third-place match for the opportunity to continue in the qualification pathway to the UEFA Women's Europa Cup.

Hosting the Second Qualifying Round represents another important milestone in HB Køge Women's continued international growth and reflects the club's ambition to establish itself among Europe's leading women's football clubs both on and off the field.
Just months after Køge Stadium hosted both the Danish Women's Cup Final and the championship-deciding league match, the city will once again welcome European football as clubs, UEFA delegates, media, supporters, and fans from across the continent gather in Køge.

The Road to the UEFA Women's Champions League League Phase
The winner of the mini-tournament will advance to the Third and Final Qualifying Round. That round will be played over two legs, home and away, with the winner earning a place in the UEFA Women's Champions League 2026/27 League Phase.
