HB Køge Women are delighted to announce the signing of two new players. The Danish champions have secured the services of 17-year-old Polish youth internationals Lidia Kulka and Julia Ostrowska, who both join the club from Poland's top division.

Julia Ostrowska
Seventeen-year-old Julia Ostrowska joins HB Køge Women from the Polish Ekstraliga. The young forward arrives from Górnik Łęczna, where she has already made 37 league appearances and scored two goals despite her young age.

Julia has been a regular for Poland's youth national teams for several years. Most recently, she represented Poland's U19 national team, earning four caps, including appearances in the UEFA Women's U19 European Championship qualifiers.

She has also made 25 appearances for Poland's U17 national team and has represented both the U16 and U15 national teams, making two and three appearances respectively.

"Julia has many of the qualities we look for in an attacking player: she's direct, strong, and a good finisher. She is still young and relatively raw, so there is work to be done with her in our U19 team, but I have no doubt that she will also get opportunities with the first team. The Polish youth national teams are very strong, and Julia is one of the players they have high expectations for within that system," says Sporting Director Jonas Nielsen.

Julia is looking forward to continuing her development at the club and embracing a new chapter in a new country.

"I chose HB Køge Women because I saw many growth opportunities here, and going abroad will allow me to step outside my comfort zone. I'm looking forward to new challenges and my first game," says Julia on her move to HB Køge Women.

Lidia Kulka
Seventeen-year-old Lidia Kulka also joins HB Køge Women from Poland, arriving from UJ Kraków, where she was most recently part of the club's first-team squad in the Ekstraliga.

Lidia is an attacking player capable of playing across all positions in the front line. Earlier this year, she played a key role in Poland's qualification for the UEFA Women's U17 European Championship, scoring two goals in three matches. At the final tournament in May, she featured in two of Poland's four matches as the team finished fifth overall.

"Lidia is an exciting player who is incredibly intelligent on the ball and technically gifted. She can play in every attacking position, and like Julia Ostrowska, she will begin with our U19 team, where Marie Lynge Olesen will help shape, support, and guide her on the path toward the first team," says Sporting Director Jonas Nielsen.

Lidia is excited to compete at a higher level and play alongside more experienced players.

"HB Køge Women is the perfect place for my development. I’m really excited to play at such a high level and learn from the older, more experienced players here. It’s a great environment for me to progress, and I can't wait to get started."

The plan for both players is to train with the first-team squad while primarily gaining match experience with the club's U19 team.

Welcome to the club, Julia and Lidia!
