Free admission to Saturday's match as Køge Idrætspark is officially inaugurated

Saturday, 15 August will be a special day at Køge Idrætspark. After several years of dedicated development, the new facilities are now complete, and Køge Municipality will celebrate the official inauguration by inviting everyone to enjoy a day of football, activities and entertainment – with free admission throughout the day.

As part of the celebrations, HB Køge Women will host OB Q at 1:00 PM, as the Danish champions take to the pitch in the newly upgraded surroundings at Køge Idrætspark.

Modern facilities for the future of HB Køge Women
Over the past few years, Køge Idrætspark has been transformed into a modern hub for both grassroots and elite sport. The stadium now features 6,000 covered seats, new stands, modern changing facilities, hospitality areas and a brand-new artificial pitch, creating an even better experience for both players and supporters.

HB Køge Women are excited about what the new facilities mean for the club's future.

The new facilities have already provided the stage for unforgettable moments, most recently when HB Køge Women celebrated the club's historic domestic double in front of the home crowd. Now, the club looks forward to creating many more memorable occasions together with the fans at Køge Idrætspark.

A day for the whole family
In addition to the match between HB Køge Women and OB Q, the day will feature plenty of activities for the whole family, including welcome and inauguration speeches, live music from Anna David, free horse-drawn carriage rides and two additional football matches.

Admission to the entire day's programme is free of charge. However, due to stadium capacity, all spectators must claim a free ticket in advance at hbkogew.eventii.dk.
