Who are we hiring?
HB Køge Women is hiring a Commercial Coordinator to grow and lead the club’s presence with sponsors and key local stakeholders. This role will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and selling a commercial plan for HB Køge Women with extensive guidance from the President and Board.
What will you do?
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses and key stakeholders.
- Identify, pitch, and secure new sponsorship and partnership agreements.
- Sell commercial assets, including:
- Shirt and kit sponsorships,
- Matchday entitlements and sponsorships,
- LED board, signage, and stadium branding,
- Digital and social media partnerships,
- Hospitality and VIP packages.
- Manage and renew existing sponsorship relationships, ensuring partners receive agreed deliverables and value.
- Act as the main point of contact for sponsors during the season.
- Tracking value – externally, internally, and in terms of revenue – of sponsorship agreements for internal stakeholders, including the Board of Directors.
- Assisting with Community Engagement where sponsors are engaged in the community.
- Attend home matches and key club events, support sponsor hospitality and matchday activations, and assist with special events, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives.
What do you need to succeed?
- Experience in sales, partnerships, or business development roles in Denmark.
- 5+ years of experience preferred, but open to all candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- An understanding of the value of the club brand, and alignment with the mission to elevate women’s football in Denmark and beyond. Genuine interest in football and community-based sport.
- An ambitious mindset, and comfort working independently in a small organization.
- Preferred: Experience working in partnership sales within a football club.
- Preferred: Having awareness of the Køge community and being connected with those events & opportunities that reach our brand pillar and priorities, ultimately opening doors for events and other activation activities
- Must be available to work flexible schedule, including events, matchdays, weekends and occasional holidays as needed
- Must have a valid Driver's License, good driving record, be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable under our company’s policy
- Must be willing to work in-person in Køge and report to team facilities on days as assigned by Manager, in line with a full-time schedule.
- Must be an excellent, professional representative of the club at all times in public and community settings
Special requirements of the Job:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of matchdays, and occasionally weekends, nights or holidays.
Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time sensitive matters.
Ability and comfort to present to potential sponsors, including travel when needed.
